Information for your Surgery

Before your surgery

Before your admission to Central Sydney Private Hospital, all paperwork related to your admission must be completed. We encourage all patients to submit their completed paperwork, preferably two weeks before the day of operation, to allow our team to prepare for you.

During your consultation with your Doctor, they will advise you of your admission date to Central Sydney Private Hospital. Your admission date will be determined on your Doctor’s booking list; usually, the waiting time will be from two to four weeks.

Following this appointment, it is strongly advised that patients complete all hospital paperwork; once this is submitted, our nursing team will review this and determine if a pre-admission appointment needs to be attended where tests and anaesthetic review are completed before admission for surgery.

Our hospital administrative support team will contact patients one business day before their day of surgery to advise of the time that they need to arrive at the hospital; this may be via SMS or telephone call.

If you have any questions regarding your surgery at Central Sydney Private Hospital, please contact our friendly staff on 02 9281 3822.
